  2. read poems for my father and others. also kundiman/1. impassioned lyrics with strong tragic undertow. trance-like. the language a strong mix of formal and informal tropes and the centered lines carry the reader to a rhythmic jacuzzi. (o, formalist criticism yan, ha.) great stuff! pang palanca (kung isasali mo). looking for your essays, where are they?

  3. my old essays are really old. we'll have problem encoding them because i have no encoder. meanwhile, i'm open to question-and-answer type of essay. TY.

  4. Reading “The Bugsy Chronicle,” I had to choke back tears. They’re tears from someone who had pets die on her from a dog to a cat to two rabbits. We live with flowerhorns (a kind of fish), African lovebirds, parakeets, a dog and a bantam rooster and hen. Without them there would be a yawning void in our lives as our children are away for college. The poem is one of Edel’s best. I wish it had greater readership.
